Community mapping is about making it ‘aDoddle’ to find local charities, community groups and organisations that provide: Essential support; places to connect with others – reducing isolation and opportunities to volunteer or support those local organisations that need your help so they can help others.
The maps are still in their infancy and YOUR HELP is needed to raise awareness and encourage charities and organisations, who may need support in the coming months to get back up and running, to create a free profile on the map and share the 5 Key things people want to know: Who they help, how they help, the difference they make, the help they need and how to contact them, to either access help, offer to volunteer or give a donation.

Manchester Gorton Community map is supported by Afzal Khan MP who says:
“I am delighted to be working with The aDoddle Team to ensure all those in Manchester Gorton are able to easily locate charities, community groups and organisations, providing essential support; places to connect and reduce isolation; and opportunities to volunteer and support these groups. Recent experience has shown more than ever how important local charities and organisations are in supporting our communities.
Covid-19 has changed our lives dramatically but it has also shown the power of communities coming together to support one another in a moment of crisis.”
Growing the map as a resource for the community we are seeking one or two proactive & established community organisations with good local links & networks to partner with us – as a partner they would also be able to have the map on their own website as a reource.
